We have created a feature rich online classified ads site. Aside from a sleek design and easy user-interface, it's fully functional from both the back and front ends, and we own all the source code... as we built it from scratch.
Some of our competitive advantage over the dominant player in the industry, Craigslist, is integration of Google Maps inside the ads, more detailed forms in the cars and house section, college/university search, a section for new products from local stores, and more.
As you may know, local internet advertising is making a strong push and growing exponentially. We believe the current online classified ads are not keeping up. Our site is fully functional and ready to launch and take advantage of current market trends while delivering an excellent and valuable service.
We need funding to buy a great domain that will be rememberable and to develop a iPhone/Android app, so people could not only use on the go but so they can find items by GPS location.
