Do-it-Best hardware brand is the hardware store of the mid-west. Bringing back the small town feel of a hardware store to the big city without the big box feel of the national chains.
My partner and I have a combined 26 years of construction/store management/tool rental/personnel expertise. Construction backgroud consists of managing the building process from the ground dig through closing. We understand contractors, their habits, patterns and thought processes. Also worked one on one with the homeowners from planning to closing and understand their tendancies/habits. Mix this with a person who has been managing multiple large tool rental stores througout the area for the last 21 years along with the knowledge of store operations, personnel and contractor needs.
