I am a female entrepreneur seeking funding for a mobile pet grooming business in the Atlanta area. Four billion was spent on pets in the U.S. last year alone. Industry experts predict this number will exceed five billion by 2010. Mobile grooming has taken off in the South with a boom in the last three years. Mobile groomers in and around the Atlanta area are saturated with clients and have appointments scheduled 6 months to one year in advance. Mobile groomers average 10 to 14 pets per day at an average of $55.00 for each service call. Fulltime mobile groomers are easily grossing more than 100k per year.
