Description: In 2011, the Ohio Film Office reported nearly $70 million were spent on film projects in Cleveland, compared to the $29 million for Cincinnati. Only $3 million were spent in Columbus. The film industry paid $20 million in Ohio wages last year and employed more than 9,500 people. City officials said that they wanted that number to increase ! What central Ohio lacks is a studio capable of offering the facilities, equipment, and professionals to assist, develop, produce, and distribute. Our primary objective to to create a "Hollywood" style studio that is able to provide entertainment facilities able to produce and distribute quality entertainment programming. Our secondary objective is to offer our facilities to the local colleges and high schools as a tool for teaching and educating the future generations of entertainment professionals. This will be done by working closely with the colleges and high schools within the region, and offering classes and internships. A facility of this nature would not only aid in the local economy by providing jobs to the existing entertainment professionals, but also offering jobs to graduates of the local colleges. Facilites: Film and television Sound stages. Music recording and mastering facility. Computer Animation facilites. Primary Services: Complete film, television, music production services supported by the latest technology and professional expertise. A selection of pre and post production services for audio and visual entertainment. Creative services for content creation. Executives: Both owners of the company have worked within the central Ohio entertainment community for over a combined 20 years, and have deeply established links within the community. Market: We have researched the market and based on our studies have found that within the first 5 years the company would be on a loss, however after those 5 years the company would have the potential to be in the millions on return. We have looked at other local facilities that offer a fraction of we are trying to accomplish and have found that the largest competitor ( Mills James Productions) is in average a $10 - $50 million a year company. We understand the entertainment industry is a risky investment, but believe that creating a studio that offers facilities, staff, and equipment for film, television, and music production; we are creating a unique opportunity for job creation and and entertainment production. Fifteen films were shot in Cleveland last year, including the newly released action film, "The Avengers." The films brought millions of dollars and jobs to the lakefront city. "The Columbus mayor was pretty upset about that and said we needed to be at the top of the list." Tyneisha Harden of Mayor Michael Coleman's office said.
