SOKO Gallery & World Imports is a company based out of Winston-Salem, NC and is the product of a History Teacher, an Artist, and a World Traveler. The three founders came together in the mid ‘90’s while continuing their educations at Winston-Salem State University. Since the early days, they have always upheld a genuine interest and respect for the art and artifacts of other countries and cultures. While studying and researching these cultures, art and societies at ease, it was still somewhat difficult to actually obtain the treasured items that were produced within these far-away places. Thus, the idea of creating an organization geared toward the availability of such items was fostered.
