Description: Start up company not formed yet. The goal is to free computer users from the 100 year old qwerty keyboard design by using 5 multi-directional switches to replace the keyboard. One device will be able to do all the typing and all the pointer control. Additionally, this device will be one-handed. People with hand disabilities will be on equal footing in the computer world. Other people will be able to do additional multi-tasking, or to be more comfortable. A partially functioning prototype has been created. Typing speeds exceed 30 wpm after one months use. Expected typing speeds for finished product to be on par with traditional typing.
