Having watched TV at Christmas (2006), in particular a program about the children and families of Nigeria and how they struggle even to find clean water, let alone living and earning money I have decided that I would like to travel over there and help build new housing, hospitals, wells, entertainment facilities and to teach the residents how to read, write and just have a bit of fun.
There is nothing I would like more than to have the chance to go over and do this for a year or maybe more but mistakes I have made in the past are stopping me. Back in my teen years I spent money left right and centre on anything and everything (total crap if i'm honest) and I now have £4500 of debt. I am well aware that it is my own fault and I am certainly not using 'charity' as a way to get out of debt.
