Description: Over the past decade, most B2B companies have invested heavily in lead generation, lead nurturing and content marketing programs revolving around marketing automation tools like Marketo and Eloqua. But the growing consensus is that this strategy has not worked. Account-based Marketing (ABM) is taking off an an alternative strategy, and many start-ups are jumping into this space right now -- but only 20% of companies surveyed have an ABM program in place yet and there is no clear technology leader at the moment. Using my 20+ years experience driving the online marketing for major B2B companies like IBM, Kimberly Clark, Reed Elsevier and ABB, and after my recent success at developing an online data collection, analysis and reporting tool for the non-profit sector that won state-wide contracts in Texas and Florida (so far), I'm currently developing a prototype of a SaaS solution that brings ABM functionality to mid-market B2B companies. I am looking for an early stage investor to fund the initial development, and implementation at a few alpha users (companies I already have a working relationship width). Am willing to hand over a significant share of the company for the right investor that can help me bring this to market.
