I have created a website for restaurants local to the Greater Lafayette, Indiana area to advertise. The website allows restaurants to upload menus, create clickable menus, accept online orders, offer gift certificates and publicize special events. The websites offers to consumers a two-level filter to sift through the local restaurants. It also allows consumers to leave and read reviews about local restaurants, purchase gift certificates, view menus and order online. All of the above is free of charge to both the restaurant and consumers.
(URL removed) makes money by offering "Half Price Hump Day". Restaurants that want to get on my website will need to agree to let me sell their gift certificates at a discount 1 - 2 days per year. These special, Half Price Hump Day gift certificates will be different than the gift certificates consumers can purchase any other day. They will look the same except they will have a two month expiration date and they will have some restrictions as to how they can be used. The purchase price of the Half Price Hump Day gift certificates will go directly to (URL removed). Depending on how many restaurants sign up will determine how many times per year the restaurant will need to honor Half Price Hump Day gift certificates (if there are 26 - 52, restaurants can expect up to twice a (URL removed) there are 52+, they can expect no more than once per year).
