Originally a distributor of used Japanese vehicles to the Ugandan market, GOODIECOM registered and began operating as a cellular products company in May 1999. Over the years, GOODIECOM has success fully grown to one of the acknowledged market leaders in this region. We have represented a number of leading distributors from Europe and Asia. From the year 2008, we embarked on mobile phone refurbishing. This involves purchasing of scrap (NON FUNCTIONAL OR UNTESTED) phones from the UK (Europe) and USA. These are shipped to our destination through UPS and we work on them by giving them new software upgrades, new user parts and hence virtually turning the phones unto ''new items'' that fetch us a higher value. A cellular phone purchased at $4 usually goes for more than $37 on market and averagely, a handset costs us $7 to refurbish. The fact that we have been on this market for that long(over 10years) enables us to sell not less than 700handsets per week thru retail and bulk sales. But this is also determined by the size/number of scrap phones we have purchased for refurbishing.
