JRA Family Properties LLC, is created as a Limited Liability Corporation based out of Alabama. It will be owned by its principal investors, Renee (myself) as the CFO, and Angela Patterson (Daughter),as the CFO. Both holding 40% of the stake in the company. The other 20% will be held by silent investors.
My partner and I want to also complete the "Professional Housing Provider" training program with the "Madison County Real Estate Investors Association (MREIA). The association deals with identifying different types of investment used in today's current economy such as, foreclosures, flips, distressed property, discount mortgages, lease options, little or no money down investments, wholesaling, retailing, landlording, wrap around mortgages, land contracts, land trusts, tax liens, deeds and option agreements!
This will give use a better idea of what part of Real Estate we want to focus on.
