i have designed a new lited stop sign and other lited roadway signs, they are solar powered and battery operated. they have photo eyes that will turn on at night and shut off during the day to charge the battery. very low maintainance, having only 5 working components. my lited signs have been approved by the FHWA and MUTCD to be used in Illinois and other states.
